I am thinking about trying to do some 2 hosing down in Dale Hollow. Has anyone out there ever dived there? I have heard stories of submerged towns and a floating dive shoppe? Any experiences and advice would be appreciated. Any other vintage divers want to join? Projected date is around the 23rd of Sept.

I have a seat reserved on some sort of aircraft and I'm on my way next Thursday! Any vintage divers in the area please feel free to join us!
I had a message from Chuck (a.k.a. Muddy Bivalve) Hopefully he will be driving down to join us!
I also have hopes that my friend Ron Miller (Tennessee Diver) can get away from work for a bit and come down and visit with us!

Hi Bryan, you're so cool how you go diving with vintage equipment like I dive with the modern day stuff. I just finished paying for Sue's car and freed up a major monthly chunk of cash. Maybe now I can join you guys when you want to do these fun excursions. By the way, I finally got that Mistral reg from a guy in Washington State. You can't believe how good of shape this reg is in. No kidding, it's only been dove one time in a swimming pool. Now I've got this and my rebuild Voit reg, so Jackie's ready to hit the vintage dive trail big time. Got a Voit mask and the Voit Viking flippers to use with the regs. I'll keep in touch with you about these trips. Let me know if you need any help with arranging things for the 2005 Florida spring dive trip, Jack.

We had a great time! Had our own pontoon boat for two days did 6 dives, cooked up some sand dogs right on the boat and heard some great stories from the old days of diving from our own Broxton Chuck Tenge! His compressor sure was a time and $$$ saver, we took it right on the boat with us. Folks at the marina treated us great. If you are close to the area I recommend them highly!

There may be another exciting weekend, of diving the famous, (or infamous, however you look at it) DALE HOLLOW again this year. Dive the dark depths with the Vintage pros! Tour the vast inland ocean, stopping at various treasure sites, to drag in booty, and gobble "SAND DOGS! How many of you are interested in such a trip again this year? BROXTON CHUCK

Dale Hollow is a hugh lake at the tennesee/kentucky border. Its a great place to just get wet and see a couple fish. Its not that super, BUT with Bryan, Rob, and Chucko, and the rest of you we will spend 2 days soaking up sun, cruising the lake, dropping in wherever the current takes us, along with consuming gallons of beer, bottles of other goodies, and gobbling SAND DOGS hot off the grill, and inhaling that great fresh air. Going out at first light, and diving until you cant stand up, is fun. We did it, and might do it again this year. If you would like to join with us, let us know. And now behind curtain number 2.......................................

Since the vintage dive in florida for next weekend was ruined by the hurricane, is anybody interested in DALE HOLLOW. the site of the original SAND DOG DIVE! Waters pretty clear, and warm. We went last year in september and had a great time. features are sunken ocean liner, TWA constellation aircraft, golden bars weighing 25 pounds each, and underwater compressor so you can fill your tanks underwater, and never have to come up, except to get some SAND DOGS and BEANS

I would love to attend. I can not be there on the 24th or 25th. If we were to go on the original Destin dates, that would be great. I know a couple of people that rent houseboats. Let me know!
