Going to canada would be fun, considering I have an engineer who lives in toronto, and I could take care of some business on the same trip. I am very busy until mid august but after that who knows. What gear can you take into canada to dive with? Could I take my compressor? What are gasoline prices up your way? Chuck

I think you can take anything you want for diving except Spearguns since Spearfishing in Ontario in illegal.

I believe you can use a speagun in the St Lawrence, but any lakes and small rivers.
Minsitry of natural resources can field that one for sure. Then again I went diving with five cops, and i was going to bring my speargun with me, but i figured they would get ticked off or arrest me, So I left it behind. All of them brought their spear guns. They asked me why i didnt bring mine. I told em i did not want to get charged. They laughed really hard on that one

Hi There is a diver who has a huge vintage collection in Ontario. I came across his web site last year www.divingmachines.com. I'm sure he may be able to help get your feet wet. Ron
