I would like to put together a large Vintage Dive this July here in the Toronto Area. I can get a TV station to come out also. I need some ideas on location and those interested. I'm going to ask Alex at Scuba2000 what he thinks. I would like some Vintage Hard hats also if available. Maybe some of you U/W photo people could take some B/W for us all.

Hi Policediver, Sounds like a good idea, I would like to join you for the vintage dives. I am in Buffalo and not that far away. I usually dive my vintage gear in Windmill Quarry in Fort Erie

I think the first thing you need to do is find out how many people would be interested in doing a vintage dive gathering, and see if it will be worth all your trouble to get things organized. If it is only going to be a few then I would not waste your time, but if it is 10 or more then I would say go for it. Once you have an idea, then you can proceed to get things together. You need to find a place with easy shore access, possible accomodation of over night if poeple choose, places to eat that will accomodate a group etc. This are just a few ideas I had. Just returned from a vintage dive gathering in Florida and these where some concerns poeple had from that trip.
