At the top of forums there are "buttons" labeled "search,," "mark as read," "new thread," and "new poll."
On the screen I use, with the settings I prefer, these labels, with their outline font, are very hard to read.
Also, since they are images, the text does not scale up and down as does other html text, when using the browser's text size tools (CTRL +/- in Firefox).

The software would have to be rewritten in order to change that. You could try contacting the vendor (proboards.com) but I don't expect they would agree with you. It never hurts to speak up, though!

Thanks for the reply. So, did you pay money for this bb software? I think the best one our there is UBBthreads. If you're looking towards renewing a license or support contract you might want ot look at them. www.ubbcentral.com/

Nope, no money - Proboards is totally free. They run the Google ad at the top to cover costs. There's lots o' bb software out there nowadays. There was not nearly so much to choose from when I first started our forum a few years ago!

Hi again Linda, I am delighted to report that I stumbled upon the solution to the quote block font size issue - who knew ti would be so simple! I searched the PrBoards web site support section and found this - please take a look: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=support&action=display&n=1&thread=1190198896&page=1It should be an almost trivial matter to add that code to your global header. Regards, jv

I didn't know the blockquote was an issue... I thought you started this thread regarding the labels -- the outlined text images. I kinda like the blockquote as it is... It helps the reader to distinguish between what is being quoted and what is the current post. And you can usually read the quote in larger text simply by scrolling up and looking at the original, since most quotes are a previous post on the same page. Not all, but most...
