So there I was at a get together and a vintage diver told me about the double hose regs he owns and uses. I was somewhat envious (not that there is anything wrong with my SCUBAPro MK16s and various Atomic single hose regs) but I really became Green with envy when he told me he has a Fenzy.
He then suggested that I join this group. So here am I.

Welcome aboard. Looking at the picture of the Green_Manelishi on your web site, it looks like he is sporting a nice looking oval vintage mask, a nice set of double tanks, and an appropriate double hose regulator. The picture in my avatar is about 34 years ago. Here is another picture of my Fenzy ;D (and the same regulator, and snorkel) at Wazee last August: The metal frame in the mask is the only original part left of my Scubapro Optical. I had to replace the black rubber about 25 years ago and this summer I found a non-prescription lens for it. After Lasik surgery I couldn't use my prescription lens any more. For picture in the avatar, I was probably using contact lenses.

Yes, it's an oval shaped mask and double hose regulator but alas a single tank. Actually, a Green Manelishi does not need a tank at all but I needed it to be obvious that he is a diver. G_M

How did you come by the name Green_Manelishi? I know there was a song "Green Manalishi" recorded by Fleetwood Mac which was released as a single. Any connection?

Fleetwood Mac trivia: Lindsey Buckingham and Stephanie (Stevie) Nicks went to my High school where they met while my sister was attending there. The rest is history. Welcome, Green_Manelishi!

Thanks all for the fine welcome.
Yes there is a connection to The Green Manalishi (with the two pronged crown) and it's readable on my website.
A bit off topic but more music trivia related to my "nom-de-net".
Peter Green (formerly of Fleetwood Mac) penned the song when he became disturbed over the two sides of fame and fortune. Green was one of the premier British bluesmen and no less than BB King was very complimentary; Green eventually quit playing. Gary Moore (of Ireland) was heavily influenced by Green and came to own a Gibson Sunburst that Green sold to him at a fraction of its value. Moore later recorded a CD (LP?) of blues tracks that he labelled "Blues for Greenie". Judas Priest covered the song "The Green ...." on their "Hell Bent for Leather" LP (which was originally released under the title "Killing Machine") and that's how I heard it although I have also heard the Fleetwood Mac version.
