I am new to the forum. Been diving since around 1967. Started as a kid in the Philippines as a kid. The first regulator I breathed off of was a Dacor Dart. The first reg I bought was a used Voit 50 Fathom doublehose and a Voit 72 mounted on a Voit snug pack with a wrist depth Gage for the hefty sum of ten bucks. I used that until I could afford modern gear. Over the years I collected a pile of gear, much of it tech, but often old stuff. A couple of years ago I began looking at my double hose and began to dust it off. One thing led to another and I have rediscovered the pleasure of vintage diving. I still have a bunch of old single hose regs such as the Dacor Dart, MR 12, Scubapro, and a slew of older Conshelfs as well as old band masks, etc. I like them all just fine. But I am now only diving double hose for pleasure these days. I currently am diving a DA Aquamaster with vintage masks, fins and other vintage accessories that I have had lying around but have now come back into style. I have learned a lot from the Internet on vintage gear and have come to depend on these forums to get valuable information. I hope to learn a lot more from you guys.-Jim

Welcome Jim! These forums are great and a whole lot of fun to participate in. Sometimes there are lulls in activity and you can take advantage of those times to look back at old threads or start some new ones. Looking forward to hearing more from you and to your sharing some of your expertise with us as well. Regards, Terry
