I've been diving for 32 years (1977) and my first equipment was a used Healthways Scubair J that I still have. It is indestructible with even the exhaust T being made of chrome plated brass. Not the easiest breather, and almost impossible to find parts for, but it served me well for quite a while. Besides the modern stuff not worth mentioning, I have two double hose regulators as well. A Nemrod Snark III Silver that I used for many dives over the years when a camera was in my hand, and is in need of a serious overhaul/rebuild; and an Aqualung DW Stream Air which I've been able to keep operational for some twenty odd years on a handful of replacement parts that I bought in Guatemala in 1989. I'm planning a rebuild of all of these, and then get some bottom time (think I'll limit my vintage stuff to fresh water - at least for now).
Anyone with informations such as manuals, or better yet knowledge of sources of parts, for these old work horses is welcome to contact me.

George, Parts are available for most of the regulators you mentioned. I just repaired my Heathways singlehose and it used same parts as ScubaPro Mk3. Heathways became ScubaPro. The Nemrod regulator Dan probably has parts for and if he doesn't, check out www.vintagedoublehose.com/ (Bryan probably has parts). The DW Stream Air will probably be the easiest reg to get parts for. They are really easy to work on. Been a few years sence I overhauled one (ok, I'm YOUNG still; at least I sort of feel like it). I have a parts diagram for the DW and if I remember right the adjusting screw for the plate is the only adjustment on it. If you want a copy of it PM me your address. Except for Sherwood, USD manuals is all I have anymore. When I left Norfolk I had almost everything needed to overhaul most doublehose regs; even, the pressure gauges for Dacor regs. That was a few years ago and all that stuff is long gone. I even had NOS (but; then, they were new) parts for most USD and Dacor doublehose regulators. Wish I could go back in time. Ok, I'm not old .... just subtract 30 yrs and I'll be a young diver again! Welcome aboard, Robert

George,
I'll mail you a copy of the parts diagram I have for the DW & DY regulators. You should get it in a three to four days (I'm in CA).
