Well it's finished for the world to see ;D I just uploaded my short 2 min video to u-tube. The housing stayed together and I need just a few minor adjustments and Hollywood here we come, he, he, he. I had such a great time diving w/ Terry & Robert on the Feather River Salmon Run. It was such a thrill to dive there. We need to get other double hosers there next year. Anyway here is the link to the video & Terry is going to give Loyd Bridges a run for his starring role. His yellow Mistral and harness really stood out. Terry will be available for autographs soon, stay tuned! www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFsT45aWRuY

AWESOME!
Jerry, I had good faith that your video would turn out to be great, but that is even better than I had imagined! Thankyou for sharing it! Your video really captures what we see when we dive there, and it's great now to finally be able to share with others a video along with the great stills Robert has gotten.
Robert pasted your post and YouTube link in the General Discussions forum. I hope you don't mind. It will probably get viewed more there than here in Regional Interest.
We'll need to do it again next year. Hopefully the salmon will cooperate. They've had their vacation the past couple years, now it's time for them to get busy again! We also need to have a leading-coast vintage get-together soon. I'm all for next spring. We should plan on it.
P.S. Nice avatar, Jerry.

BTW, VSS dudes and dudettes, Jerry made his camera housing himself. It didn't leak a bit and looked professionally made. Pretty ingenious, if you ask me.

Pretty ingenious, if you ask me. Jerry, We can dive sooner than that. The salmon run until November (sort of dying ones swim in the river until the middle of November); and the steelhead trout are in the river until Feburary. If there are spring run salmon; they may be in the river in April or May. This year I didn't see any. The fall run, what were in the video, start showing up in the river about the middle of July. When I worked at the hatchery, the ladder was opened the middle of August. Now they open it the middle of September, I guess; because, there aren't near as many Salmon to harvest. Even though, the number of salmon will be down (they opened the ladder), I'll be diving the river until probably November. Keep an eye on the dive club site calendar! I like Monterey in the spring or early summer, after the Sea Lions have had there babies, and they jump in the water with you. Check out where I posted about the show they put on for Andrew earlier this year! Andrew told me he got to pet one of them! Robert
