Not old, vintage..............
I started diving in 67 as well.............back when Texas lakes were clear and few homes lined the shores.............
My gear was a Vido mask with corrective 40 mm lens, SW Sport diver II, Sports-Ways 72 tank (black I remember) and contoured backpack......homemade weights, Voit Vikings, hunting knife with waxed blade and homemade canvas sheath.
Air was a dollar I think.

1968, had to go to twin 72's with military harness and a Royal Aqua Master regulator. Why, because Mike Nelson dove twins with a double hose regulator, why else. ;D My dive partner Mike, no not Nelson, is using my old Heathways equipment. Attachments:

Here's a couple of me before I was vintage too: I've still got hair in this one on top! (About 1975.) Contrast that with last summer! Started scuba in 1959, certified LA County in 1963; US Navy 1967; NAUI #2710, 1973. John

HHD, in the image with the doubles, the kid in green almost looks like he's got a "smoke" in his mouth: perhaps that's his last Chesterfield?
Dang John, you musta been a real lady killer back then! In that image, you look utterly dumbfounded by your drysuits closure, "How the heck did that thing get here?"

Me, before I was old ... my White Stag mask is still around somewhere .... rubber is all cracked and unusable. I got lots of use out of it .... I know I'm probably going to get some negative comments about the Dacor Pacer and Seatec pony jacket ... oh well

I bought the Seatec in the late 70's (I think) .... and the Dacor Pacer in the 80's when they first came out. I think the photo was taken in the 80's at Coco Solo, R de Panama. Anyone know when the Pacers came out?

Actually, when I was looking at that closure, I was trying to think of whether it was closed water-tight or not. About 2/3 of the time, the answer was "NOT". I finally put an USAF survival suit zipper in it (supposedly a dry zipper, but again, NOT). John
