In 1967 I dove with a pararescueman who was wearing a set of black 72 tanks he says he got from the company filming Thunderball. He was one of the PJs who jumped for the movie Thunderball from a C-97. This was a USAF currency jump, and he could not be paid for the jump but got to keep the equipment. Here are some photos of him wearing these tanks in Alexander Springs State Park, Florida in 1967. Note that he has put two Jump Wing decals on these tanks. I really enjoyed this clip, and especially liked the scene where the percussion granade was used in the hold, and a single Duck Foot fin was seen floating out of the hold. The other scene I liked was the spear hitting the back of the scuba, dislodging the double hose regulator and causing a high pressure leak (lot of tiny bubbles). Thanks Mark for bringing back the memories. John

I liked your video as well Wardog, In fact, I had to watch Thunderball again. Anyone else notice that his injury went from his right leg to his left then back to his right again?
In your last photo it looks like the diver is using a Calypso. I like the looks of mine and need to get it in the water. Thanks for the pic John.
