Andrew wants to; but, I'm uncertain if there are any lakes with enough water in them after DWR drained them the past couple of years.

Feels like polar bear diving in our pool; must be down to 75 degrees!!! We bought lycra dive skins and neoprene shorts and vests to compensate. Must be too cold even for them polar bears, though; haven't seen a single one.

Andrew's first boat dive: 1-1-15 .... vis was like two feet; so, no underwater photos to share. Going shopping and when I get home; but, if photobucket works, I'll share a couple of photos when I get home.
Polar Bears would cook in the water we was in ... it was like 59 degrees hot !!!

The Polar Dip in Sitka was the 20th of December. I usually stand by with the public safety dive team. Wearing a drysuit seems more fun to me - you can see our dive team in the background of a few of these shots. rich.mcclear.net/2014/12/20/sitka-polar-dip-2/

Asked Joshua (he just tooked photoshop class at Butte College) to make the hair brown, get rid of the wrinkles, and make the dude in the photo look younger, and he went off chuckling and laughing, saying "Nope, no can do, dad!" ....

Is this a club event or was it open to the community? Did you get any underwater shots of the Hydro Twin II in action?

Robert, I hope you told that young diver it's a good idea to have the hoses at least in position over his shoulders (like this ) before venting the air from his BC.
