It's a work in progress. I'm seriously considering keeping the black hoses instead of the grey ones I bought for it

That's a nice looking reg you have there. Why don'don't you pop the gray hoses on there and put it up for a vote?

Sorry about that I realized that after I posted it. Since it was titled media I figured pictures of vintage regs should go here.

I Love VCR2s...- Thanks for posting the picture of your beautiful VCR2. The blue ones are the BEST. I have a blue one but it doesn't look as nice as your's... Got some chips in the paint. - Above is my chrome VCR2 50 Fathom... I have both my blue and chrome versions all tuned up to breathe VERY easy. See the write up I did here comparing them to a Mistral. Jaybird, I just moved this thread into the General Discussion area, where it will get more attention anyway.
That is a beautiful regulator. Grey or black hoses will both work very well with this regulator, although the grey are mare period-specific. The grey hoses may be a bit shorter, so comfort may come into account if you are using it much.

Don't be fooled by the picture there are some chips in the paint. I almost don't want to use it since I don't want to ruin it... but I used it in a pool and I'm really debating using it in open water.
