As a young man living in the Bronx in NYC I was a big fan of all things Cousteau and underwater. I had read that a company called International Underwater Contractors, apparently one of the biggest in the industry, was headquartered on City Island in the Bronx, and had the contract to maintain and support the Cousteau diving saucers. I drove out there one day and to my delight saw two of the saucers on their dock, off of Fordham St., as I recall. What a thrill. It must have been around 1975 to 1977 or so.
