John, is that a $20 Kraken mask? They are the deal of the century. Phil, I don't know what a "Kraken mask" is, as I've never heard of it. This is my AMF Voit Balboa mask, made in Italy, which is rather rare. John

VDH is selling a mask that matches the Kraken DH regulator. I should have known it wasn't one you're wearing!

VDH is selling a mask that matches the Kraken DH regulator. I should have known it wasn't one you're wearing! This AfM Voit Balboa mask was last sold in the mid-1970s. It has the best "down vision" of any mask ever designed. That is because the lenses are tilted downward to a sharp degree. John

YIKES! The engineers at White Stag really didn't want non scuba-techs to mess with their gear... there's a circlip deep down inside the second stage valve body holding the poppet in: no room to work! On the Deep-1 you need a special sized hex-head wrench to remove/adjust the IP-cap, of which I still need to make! Geez, ya know, this kinda stuff makes me feel like a novice... JB EDIT: it also takes a different sized soft-seat for the poppet...
