I recently picked up a very unique item that I thought I'd share... It's a Post Power Pak underwater scooter from about 1961, and it's the only scooter of its kind that attaches to the bottom of a scuba tank. It has a two speed 12 volt motor and is supposed to travel at speeds up to 3 mph (which I think is very optomistic). Jerry Lang and I recently watched a Sea Hunt episode that featured one of these scooters and it was also written up in a 1962 Skin Diver magazine. If there are any old timers out there that have used one of these, I would like to hear your impressions of them. Dan

Looks like it was made out of an old gas cylinder. I saw one of these sell on Ebay about three years back. If you get it running post some pictures.

Hi DAN: I seen Mike nelson the other day with one of those contraptions in an exciting episode from SEA HUNT the other day. He was movin out cutting hoses on the bad guys. You got a really neat item there. Chucko

Dan, if your wanting to sell it, message me before telling anyone else, ok? Robert This thread is almost 10 years old. I think "paulstark" bumped it up in order to advertise the web site that he posted the link for. We'll see if he returns with any genuine interest, but at the moment it's looking like spam.
