Is ‘t the j valve port an “intermediate pressure” port? It's an HP port CJ, the J valve is like a little block that opens and closes with varying tank pressures. It's open all the way from 3000 to 500. At about 500 PSI or less (usage and spring wear makes the PSI drop!) the little block moves to close off the valve. By pulling the switch you manually move the block back and you have an open airway in the valve. Also check your email! TD

Nope, full tank pressure. There was an accessory for the Trieste and Titan that replaced the plug in the ones without the J valve (or the J valve itself for that matter) that could be used as a SPG port. Since the tank valve used the same parts, the accessory plug should work in them as well. I think Rob at the Scuba Museum had some repro's made.

I thought he had some with the port but I didn't find them, just these blanks but putting a port in them would be easy.

I bought one of those plugs for the j valve port when I learned (on this forum) about the crumbling plastic pieces and parts.

Trieste and Titan II already have HP ports.... I guess an HP port in a valve would be useful.
