Hi all, I need to replace the rear o-ring on my dive watch. It is a - 025 and appears to be .8 diameter. Can't find any of the correct size online. Anyone have this o-oring in their bag of stuff I could buy off you? (Or a recommendation on where to look?) Thanks, Mark

Ummmm, have ya tried a watch shop? JB Actually, yes. The two shops I stopped in at wouldn't just sell me the o-ring, said it had to be part of their $59.99 overhaul package. Something about fear of liability if the watch leaks and they let an untrained person work on their own watch. Bunch of crap designed to make money if you ask me.

Just to finish off the thread, the following appears to be a good site for watch o-rings if anyone else is looking: www.esslinger.com/watch-gaskets ... 1569759030

I can see both sides of this, so many people are morons and think they can service things and really eff them up. On the other hand, it's like trying to service your own diving gear, "Jus' sell me the muther-forklift part already, geeze! I actually do know what I'm doing..." "But the world will implode if I do, so no, I won't sell it to you!" JB

Hi Eben, thanks for the input. I have ordered from the ORING STORE in the past and they have great orings for regulators, gauges and tank valves. Itty bitty teeny tiny really super thin watch orings are a different animal and they kind of laughed at me when I called them to ask. All suggestions are appreciated though! Mark

Don't forget the superglue the o-ring store sells to butt the ends together. It will fix lots of rubber stuff. It will glue a new LP seat to Dacor R-1,2,3 levers. Cut the seat off the lever so it is level and apply! It fixes DH hoses, mouthpieces, etc. It is very inexpensive, and works great. I've fixed diaphragms, too.

If you are talking to me Jim, the answer is that I was bored but I got my dive boat back from the repair yard today and I'm all set for this lobster season! M
