I'd be surprised if you find a rebuild kit for a Mk 7. The piston and seat are exactly like a Mk 5, so the ones I see on Ebay will work. Mk 5 kit will not contain the oscillator o-rings. Those are very specific. If they're not in bad shape, reuse them.
Scubapro changed the design of the oscillator on later models. it has to move very freely to honk. They increased the depth of the main o-ring groove. I don't know the exact measurement of the new groove. If your Mk 7 doesn't honk at low tank pressure, make sure that o-ring is well lubed. I've toyed with the idea of incrementally machining the groove deeper, until it honks properly. I guess it's time to get my Grandfather's lathe out of storage.
Hopefully you fall n love with this strange beast and want a few more. I still have a couple hanging around.

I put the MK7 together today. I suspect this is a very early MK7, because its not marked for use with 3000 psi tanks and it has a 3/8 HP port. When I hooked it up to a tank with 400 psi in it the IP went right to 140 and stayed there rock steady, I then put it on a full 2250 psi tank again it went to 140 and held. Now I'm on to the 108 second.

There is an annotated chart on VDH with all the oring size numbers, you can easily get a MK-5 kit and add the extra orings based on the drawing.

VDH sells a kit for the MK7. I've got the 108 second done. Now I need to get my lazy butt downstairs and hook them to a tank. It's snowing right now and I have no access from inside the house to the basement, so I'm going to wait to go outside and go downstairs.

This has me worndering for the future. Last month i found a 109 second stage for $5 and was considering finding another MkV first stage to mate with it? But I might keep me eyes open for a Mk VII now? I don't know?, got other projects in the way and this is the ultimate First World Problem! Mark

I finished the 108 second and hooked the MK7/108 to a tank. I had a little free flow from the second so I took the diaphragm out. It still had a leak. I cycled the second stage a few times and it sealed up. I tried it on a tank with about 300 psi and she honks. On a tank with 1200 psi she doesn't. There's another working MK7/108 in the world. Thanks everyone for your help.

One of the local shops I haunt have several Mk. V 1st stages lurking about for cheap. This is not a project with high priority at this point anyway. Thanks anyway. Mark
