Jerry,
I had the Master Plan (member #1542447) and was injured diving and was hospitalized for five days due to an infection from the injury. DAN insurance never paid one cent for anything; although, I paid for the insurance for sence Oct. 2003.
Please check again. DAN insurance only covers decompression sickness for the Master Plan (according to DAN emergency phone help line), and then is only secondary insurance. I was told I also had to pay all the bills before applying for re-embersment from DAN, and they only would cover chamber usage and helicopter ride to the chamber - nothing else. Sence I didn't have a primary insurance I had to be sent 90 miles to the closest VA Hospital. Also, sence I didn't have a primary insurance ... DAN is only secondary insurance. I wonder what that means. Probably I pay the bill and never get re-embursed. And sence I'm not wealthy enough to take DAN to court ... well, get the picture?
I've tryed contacting DAN membership through the internet and phone. No reply so far. I gave up awhile ago.
If I can get the magazines for $29 that might be worth it. Little over $2.00 a copy. With the Family Plan they wanted $79 to renew my membership. I'll try calling again and maybe I'll be lucky and geta live person instead of their answering machine.
I'm tired and have to wake up in six hours, so got to go.
Robert

It means you are stuck! Remember the old saying,,,,, " Use well before shaking" Why buy a magazine from these guys when they give you that kind of service?
