Hello! I've been out of the game for almost 10 years. I'm a NASDS instructors college grad and I'm in the process of getting myself back up to speed so I can teach again! Equipment has changed like it always has and I'll be looking for some new items but keeping a lot of the old tried and true stuff. Can someone give me some advice on what type of BC would be most like my old favorites such as AT-Pac's or wings as they were sometimes called. Anything that inflates behind you works best for me! Some of you will be able to tell my age by the regulators I've used. My 1st was a healthways single hose upstream tilt with chrome exhaust ports that looked like tailpipes and my most recent is a SAS Comments and suggestions are most appreciated!

I used an at-pac from '78 until 2000, still have one for a spare. The good news is if you still love it a compay called Divetek still makes it, I switched over to a Stainless steel backplate (Halcyon but Diverite and OMS are the same) and a small wing with weight pockets(halcyon) on the waist strap. I really like the balance and to me the backplate feels better then the atpac. I never liked the "loose" feel of the jacket bc's, even the ones with the rear wing.
