Linda, Thankyou very much for changing my subject. I really do appreciate it . Hey sea rat, I don't know where we'd want to dive around clear lake but I have an idea . Perhaps since Turtle guy is interested and will be in the neiborhood in awhile, we should plan the clear lake trip around his arrival since he's coming from a long ways away. I also know of the lake that you spoke of and it sounds interesting .

Antonio,
April 30th might work for me. I have to check my wife's work schedule, but if she is working that day, then I just may be able to get there.

Hey Sea Rat, Well you're not going to believe this but I have gotten majorly sick and most likely won't be able to make the dive . I hope this doesn't make you mad. We can still plan for a dive in June because this is when my schedual opens up again.

Antonio,
There is no problem postponing the vintage dive to June. I will be on vacation through June 5th, and have to look at my wife's schedule after that. She works every other weekend, so I try not to plan activities that interfere with us being together on those times she is off. I'm not sure what her June schedule is.
I would have had problems with the original date too, as that was my wife's weekend off. This will give me a chance to get my twin 42s back, as they are currently out for hydro. So let's keep it loose, and stay in touch.
I hope you are feeling better. When I come, I'm thinking of bringing a number of two hose regulators, and my twin 50s and twin 42s. I may also bring my UDS-1 system too.

Hey Sea Rat, Hows it going. Well I 'm on the road to recovery and itchy to get back in the water. I've been looking at my schedual and have concluded that for me the best time for our vintage dive will be either in mid or late June or sometime in July. I'm still trying to plan it around the checkout dives with the shop. What do you think. Also are we still planning the Clear Lake Dive and if so do we have any rough dates P.S. I told Mike you wanted to buy your two hose regs back and he said you ain't gettin em

This sounds good. I live east of Salem, just before Detroit Lake , and would be up for a vintage dive. Antonio, does your instructor do Master Divers training? Is it NAUI or PADI?

Antonio, I don't know when I'll be available yet in June. My wife's schedule has yet to be posted. I'll let you know as I know it.
Tell Mike (at Eugene Skin Divers Supply) that I'm really interested only in the Scuba Delux by Healthways, the one with the reversed inhalation/exhalation hoses and the NAUI sticker instead of the Healthways sticker. Surely he doesn't want that hanging in his shop! ;D
Mike (other Mike, above), good to hear from you. Maybe we can all get together for a vintage dive this late spring or summer.

Hey Sea-rat, I've got some great news . I'm not sure of the exact dates but I just received word that one the instructors at my shop is going to be doing check out dives in florece and Clear Lake in the near future. Also me and my family are going to head up to Hoodsport this summer with the shop and we could possibly have a vintage dive up there. By the way I'll relay your message to Mike(Divemaster) about the reg and how did your twin tank setups hydro out . P.S. Mike I don't belive that my Mike is teaching master courses anymore but I do belive the other instructers are. Our shop is Padi and not NAUI. I hope this is good news .

Hello this is Antonio. I have finally become a member and I have encountered a break through . I have possible dates for our vintage dive trip . June 11th and 12th my shop (Eugene Skin Divers Supply) is doing a open water coarse in Florence. This might be a good place to spark some interest in vintage diving and it will take place at Whohink the first day and the Jettie the second. July 8th the shop is going back to florece for some jettie diving and possible crabbing from 9am to 5pm. July 12th the shop is going to clear lake for altitude and sight seeing from 9am to 5pm . Now we are all welcome to tag along but I have to inform the shop how many want to go. So if you are board members send me a private message telling me which trip you want to go on and any quetions you might have. This so all the divers (including us) can possibly rondevue at the dive shop and head up to our destination convoy style. If you have to, rent any gear you may need at your nearest dive shop beforehand. Also if you guys want to catch some crab don't forget your game license and measures. I've also thought about a vintage trip at "Mike's Beach Resort" in the Hood canal sometime before August. Is there any interest for this possible trip .
