PM me if your coming up Chuck. I live on a little puddle called Lake Michigan and I live with in two miles of this ( www.wisconsinshipwrecks.org/explore_niagara_intro.cfm ) If mother nature allows and you don't mind diving out of my vintage 1964 SeaRay, an 18 footer, perhaps I can set you up. Jim

Jim Chuck, This sounds like an offer you can't refuse. Remember to pack accordingly. The website that Swimjim posted states that although surface temperatures can reach 65°F in the summer, underwater temperatures will probably only be in the 40s and 50s. YMMV

YMMV Yes, that's pretty accuarate. You'll see high thirties for bottom temps into June. Definetely 7MM wetsuit or drysuit country. She's a neat old wreck though and worth the effort. Jim

Yes, that's pretty accurate. You'll see high thirties for bottom temps into June. Definitely 7MM wetsuit or drysuit country. She's a neat old wreck though and worth the effort. Jim I can't speak for Chuck but it sounds like a great dive that would definitely be worth the effort. On a final note, I don't think that I've personally ever seen a 7MM wetsuit.

I hope to make it wazee. I have to go to the usual convention, this year its in fargo, and starts the same weekend. Its always the same old crap. I would rather meet dive friends and get wet, than be in the heat out there at fargo. After 35 years of conventions Im about to retire. They are boring. This year is very hectic. I will likely retire, and I have a great deal to do, to close up. I do hope to make it to wazee, and florida too. But business comes first....................................
