those of you who dont want to use a banjo can just use an old Voit j valve with HP port on it. You can get one cheap on ebay for about 15 dollars. They are on there all the time. Also the old usd, and healthways K valves had the hp port too. These are at give away prices, and thats the cheap way to go. If you have a long yoke usd reg, an original banjo, or one of my repros is the way to go. 160 sold all over the world. Not one complaint. Chuck

Instead of a banjo, I use a tank valve on one of my tanks that has a HP port on it. I've had three dive stores fill the tank with the pressure gauge still attached to the tank valve. I'm eventually going to get a banjo because two tanks I have don't have HP ports on the valves (and on one the reserve doesn't work so I have to time my dives with it). Someone might say something about that; but, when I dive the river I'm only in twenty to thirty foot max. depth ... so it's sort of not a problem. Or I might just look for some more valves with HP ports. If you have a HP port on your valve and hooka port adapter, dive charters shouldn't say anything. If they do, find another dive boat. I reciently had someone say something about my DA and I told him it was in newer condition than most people keep their single hosers in. I told him my double hose was just overhauled and I check my IP and adjust it, if needed, before each dive. I think he didn't know what IP was 'cause nothing else was said. Well ... nuff of that ... Welcome Aboard !!!
