Everyone should buy the Cousteau Odyssey on DVD. It some of Cousteau's best TV work. Amazon has a special price for pre orders. I think is a good investment for Cousteau fans and vintage divers. It includes the expedition to the Britannic. They were diving to depths over 300 with royal Mistrals on a helium mix. There is a lot of cool footage, and the price isn’t bad considering there is something like 10 episodes in that series. -Ryan

There is a guy who is selling, on Ebay, a number of Cousteau shows. He ships from 'Jolly Old England'. They are in European/UK DVD format, but 'region free' DVD players are also available for about $100, on the internet. The cheap DVD players here in Australia, are region free anyway, as it is an additional expence to add region control.
The set I just bought is in English, with Dutch subtitles, which are easily turned off. The shows are: The Silent World and his TV specials.....Truk...Great Barrier Reef.... New Zealand...Dolphins...White Shark....Antartica.....and Atlantis. (almost all double hose diving). Search: Cousteau on Ebay.
The outer covers are in Dutch, but don't let that throw you. If you want the Silent World in the original French, search Ebay with: Le Monde du Silence. It pops up and they pay with PayPal just like everyone else. I have one of those too.
Other good double-hose diving shows on Ebay are: "Underwater" (color)with Jane Russell and "The Creature from The Black Lagoon" (B/W), ......a classic. A great 50s vintage diving show with rebreathers is "The Silent Enemy" with Laurence Harvey. There is a silent Indian show of the same name, so watch out for that ringer.

Would that price change if we wanted multiple copies? IE create a master and then burn copies from it?
