I'm doing a roll call to see if there are any vintage divers in Northern California. I'm in Santa Rosa (about an hour north of SF) and dive our local coast in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties and I go to Monterey once in a while. I posted something up on SB vintage board and so far Duckbill responded. I'd like to see who else is out there, so I figured I'd try as many sources as I can. I'd like to get a group together of double hosers to do some beach dives and hang out.
I'm getting tired of being the side show at my regular dive club dives.

Zky, Check this out! norcaldiveclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=40Well, Andrew isn't diving vintage; but, I was. We just got back from Monterey. Got some compliments on my DA It's in almost new condition. If the weather holds up (and my back does also; MRI tuesday), I might be diving the Feather River tomorrow with Andrew. It is usually a very easy dive (like diving in a swimming pool with a little current). Andrew is now 14 and wants to be a commercial diver and do underwater welding someday. I'm trying to get him to try a double hose; 'cause, breathing on one is simular to a rebreather (sort of). He keeps saying "it doesnt have a purge valve, dad"; eventually .... Now is the time of the year to dive Monterey; especially the Breakwater. Lots of sea lions to dive with. Only problem, I'm sort of broke now. Motel rooms have went up in price. That was our biggest expense and gasoline. Then, feeding a growing diver .... I spent $12 on air fills. Hope you like the pictures! Check out the web-site. Eventually we will get more pictures up of places to dive. Later this year we might be diving Lake Syskiou. It's high altitude and I've been told there are some things to see by a friend of mine I went to High School with that lives between Weed, CA and the lake. Got to get some sleep now. You'll also find duckbill on that site to. I've used ProBoards, also for it. Now if I can get members to sign up for it .... at one time we had 90 members of the dive club here. Robert
