The five films mentioned are actually 8mm copies of early Cousteau films that were shot on 35mm film. US Divers sold the 8mm copies, and they can be found in US Divers catalogs from the late '50s.

Sid, was Cousteau shooting 35mm or 16mm film? I know 16mm was used a lot, and divers of that era in the professional diving community were using Bolex 16mm cameras in waterproof cases. ...I just answered my own question--Sin is correct.
