SeaRat, sorry for late reply on UDS-1. I have enjoyed this set up for over 10 years since I bought it used, it is very close looking to Cousteau's set up of later years but of course not quite! The only concern I have is with the dismantling and assembling of unit for hydros, its a pain at best. Also I have run in to a problem finding the correct set of four(4) o-rings, 2 of which are split flat synthetics on the right and left cnx to the center T. Any ideas on the part numbers and avai- lability? Otherwise it truly is a unique system. I have also heard of a UDS-2 which was silver and the valves were all one piece, rare bird from what I've heard! Regards, Michel A. Michel, I just used the UDS-1 I have over the last weekend, and enjoyed the dive very much. I did not use enough air out of it (it's now at 1000 psi) to feel like I should break it down and take the tanks for their visual. That will probably come in about a week, maybe two depending upon when I get into the pool with it. Concerning the O-rings, you may wish to take them to a commercial hydraulic or compressed air firm, and see whether they can order them. It is probable that US Divers did not get these uniquely for the UDS-1 System. They are therefore probably available through other sources, and perhaps even on-line through these types of outlets. There is a guy who bought some UDS-1 supplies too off e-bay a while back. I was tempted, but did not bid. I should be able to figure out who it is with a little time. John
