Hi everybody, hope you made it over to the other side okay. Sorry for no warning, especially sorry to our moderators, Joe and John, I hope you can get used to the new look and the way things work! I'm still getting used to it all myself. I had a free moment and decided to get the ball rolling. I'll still be working on adding things back that are missing (like our scuba smileys!) and maybe tweaking some colors, etc. But hopefully this will be nicer with the added features. If anyone has any difficulties with anything, just let me know!  |

Are you checking the box that says "Remember me"? I signed out and signed in again and it didn't ask me twice. I'm not sure why it's happening to you, sorry about that!

 Gosh Linda, I think I'll go cry in my scuba mask--it hates me! Huh, after I, again, checked the "remember me" box, the last time I logged in, the next time, this morning, I had to give my user name and password all over again, and yup, I had to sign in--TWISTE (twice)! I guess I'm just the special-snow-flake who must do it twice... Jaybird |

Well of course you are special. At least someone recognizes it. Ha.  I would guess that for some reason your computer is not saving the cookie. Did you change browsers or anything? Which browser do you use? We need to tell it to save cookies from proboards.com.  |

Gosh, is there any-other browser to use--SNORT  Sorry... I use Firefox; this has just started happening in the last few days. Yeah, a bit bothersome, but I can live with it if need-be. I have another forum that I frequent: www.buickclub.org/and don't have said problem there. Hey, do they call'em biscuits, and not cookies, if it's on a British server...  Sorry, that was bad, but hopefully it made you smile! Yeah, I'll look into those biscuits, I mean, cookies... Jaybird |

Oh, good! I use Firefox, too, and I don't have that problem, so it must be you! Ha haa. Click on Tools, then Options, then the Privacy tab, then 'show cookies'. If Proboards isn't on the list, click on Exceptions. Type in 'vintagescuba.proboards.com' in the field/slot, then click the 'allow' button. See if that does the trick... I hope so.  |

Hmmm, I ain't got the part 'bout "show cookies": I do have the part about not wanting to be tracked checked, still get tracked though--GRRRRR! Running System-7 64-bit, but again, this just started a few days ago. I'll runn CC-Cleaner and see if that helps at all, do a difrag, and spyware too--SIGH...
Oh, BTW, thanks for helping!

Jaybird Click TOOLS, then choose OPTIONS, then click on the PRIVACY tab. "Show Cookies" is under the privacy tab. No? I think you really need to get to that part to solve the problem. |

I did find the cookie-jar  , but it wasn't under that exact-verbiage. I also noticed something weird; there's only one reply button, and that's at the top of the page, and at the bottom of the page is a quick-reply, before I sign in though, every posting has its own reply button. I have to scroll all the way up to the top to do a proper reply. I think something got reset a while back during an auto-update, because I noticed my Adobe Photoshop's toolbar was different after a restart, and I hadn't done it... Jaybird |

That's weird. When I am logged out, there is a "quote" button on each post, but of course it doesn't work unless you are logged in. But there is no reply button on each post. When logged in, you should see a regular reply button at the bottom, too. It's not easy to spot, but it's there on the right (see photo below). Attachments:
