well I never considered my gear vintage until now lol, I hail from south Texas, got certed Naui in late '79 in San Antonio from the scuba den. we had a mix of dh and newer us divers gear I bought a used dacor dh and later a aquamaster royal, which I still have. I never liked the newer gear much and kept my old stuff. I currently reside near memphis and have a home in Orange Beach area, as well as the old place near san marcos texas. I used to dive mainly freshwater, many of the places I used to go are closed to scuba now, but dive the gulf mostly. looking forward to this community. I currently dive my collection of us divers d/h regs as well as my Aquarius and other us divers regs I have. I love the "old" gear which i really dont see as old. Dennie B.

Ahoy matey, an' welcome aboard! We run an easy goin' ship here, an' we don't use the new crew members fer chummin'... I guess you can say I'm quite anachronistic...I love anything old, and love working on that stuff too. I like to know how things work: I don't believe in the scuba-pixies that make regulators magically and mysteriously work that most folks take for granted Can we see your gear, especially your Dacor! I have a Dacor C3 Clipper that one of the guys, Sitkadiver (Dave) gave me, so I'm needing to fabricate parts for it. As much as I like US divers stuff, I have an affinity for anything different. We have lots of smart people here that can help you with nearly any problem you might have with you gear! Jaybird

'Love you photo, and the Aquamaster in the shower, that's classic. I remember simply sitting on the lawn when I was a kid with my first regulator, a Healthways SCUBA double hose, and breathing off it just to do it. Welcome aboard. We exchange ideas, stories, etc. here, and always welcome someone with another story or two.
