It's Time to Schedule Dive Trips...
Sea Hunt Night is April 28th... About a month from now...
Dive Weekend Suggestions:
May 2nd Fortune Pond (Weekend of 9-10 is Mothers Day)
May 16th Wazee (Weekend of 23-25 is Memorial Day, Already committed for me)
May 30th Crosby (Maybe too soon after Mem Day but Crosby is a day trip for me)
May 31st Eagle Lake (See the Fresh Water Coral - Day Trip from my house)
June 6th Grand Rapids Quarry (That new one we heard about)
June 13th Fortune Pond
June 27th Wazee
June, July and August... I have lots of weekends open right NOW but if I don't commit them to diving they'll get sucked away on something else. How are you guys looking? What dates have you got open?

Thanks Eben for posting your dive schedule. I've been checking it over and June 13th at Fortune Pond has got my interest. I also see that you have a quarry at Grand Rapids for June 6th, and you mentioned that it's a new one that you heard about - Tell me more! That one has my interest as well since I'm only about an hour and a half to two hours from there. I live in Benzonia, Michigan which is about 35 miles southwest of Traverse City. If you're available in August I hope you can make it to Portage Quarry in Bowling Green, Ohio. Quite a few of our vintage group attends this event and we have a great time. - Actually its in Grand Rapids Minnesota. My dates are suggestions for discussion... So far we have only one that looks like a "For Sure" date: May 15-16 at Wazee. That one is for sure because both Jerry and I have committed to go and are writing it on the calendar.
- Are you saying you are definite for June 13th to Fortune? Maybe between you, Don, Jerry and me we can make it a definite date. Haven't heard from SwimJim yet.

Update - We have about 5 of us meeting to dive Fortune Pond this Friday and Saturday May1-2.

Update - Another Fortune Pond Trip is a For Sure date... June 12-13. Several of us have made our Motel reservations so this trip is definite.  |

Okay, Here Are Some Confirmed Dates:
June 12-13 - Fortune Pond, MI June 26-27 - Wazee Lake, WI
August 8th - Combination Treasure Hunt and Vintage Dive at Lake Wazee, WI Tom McClusky has scheduled the Inland Vintage Divers and Sea Hunt Club to participate in the 24th Annual Great Wazee Treasure Hunt sponsored by the Marineland Dive Shop in Black River Falls, WI (It's one the way out to Wazee) Details at www.divecenters.com/pages/events/TreasureHunt.html. - Tom's idea is to take all of the work out of this get together and let Marineland entertain us with their Treasure Hunt, Prizes, and Food... What a Concept!
