I've just chanced upon two interesting Japanese sites: www2.divers.ne.jp/vintage/www2.divers.ne.jp/antique_scuba/You don't have to understand Japanese to navigate the sites. The links bring up lots of pictures of old gear and a few real finds, such as images of the front covers of 1950s issues of "Skin Diver". The photo galleries show models wearing and using retro gear. They have a link to Vintage Scuba Supply. Hope this is of interest.

It looks like we (USA and Europe) are not the only ones interested in vintage diving. This is a really neat site, with a lot of material from Japan. Thanks for bringing it to us.

Perhaps the japanese might be interested in vintage diving in Hawaii. They are a lot closer to me here , than most of you guys. I should contact them. Aloha Turtleguy9
