 I loved this image: everything about it! On closer inspection: are those backpacks made from wood?  SWEEEEET! JB I think the rich folks used aluminum. Not so rich made do with wood. The suit on the right is kinda puzzling though. On the left I imagine it is a Bel-Aqua but that tan one just looks like a nylon wind breaker. |

Did not notice this until my third pass through the forum thread. On the left, diver with what looks like a Bel-Aqua Diving Hood. It sealed around your mask and as stated in the 1958 Bel-Aqua catalog ( courtesy of David Richie Wilson ) "For pressurizing dry suits wear it under the hood". So jaybird.. I think you need to add this item to your gear set up when your out to give who ever that dive master is you got it in for a heart attack.  |

I REALLY like this image: I found it quite empowering! I can't help but feel it's a father and son and that the father had polio  I need to keep reminding myself that form-fitting wet-suits came after the dry-suits!  JB |

Seven kinds of kool bruddah, thanks fer sharin': I especially liked the Dacor and home-made reg! DD, you need to see this if you haven't looked at it yet: totally boss! JB I would say so JB! I love the first pic in post number 10!!! The valves, the surplus ammo slash weight belt  Is that tape holding the tank to a homemade pack?! I need to see if Seahunt Jerry still has this stuff in his little garage of horrors  OK, back to the thread... |
