My favorite regulator is my 1954 BROXTON. Next in line is my 55 DA Navy type, which is just an improved Broxton. These old regs give a feel to diving I dont get from my royal, or mistral......... When I was 10 years old back in 56 I would have given anything to have had an aqua lung, but you made 50 cents then cutting lawns. I saw a guy with an aqua lung in 56 at silver springs florida, when we vacationed there in july of 56. I remember that vividly. Wow , to a youngster that was a big deal. Anyway now I got my old lung, and it gives a peace and completeness that I have finally achieved my dream. For a moment, I am young again, And thats the kind of feeling you cant get out of a wish, or a bottle.
