Unfortunately I didn't find anything about this,so I am writing you and I hope somebody can tell me what I have. I have this from my father(he passed away many years ago) and I don't know what is it.I think it is kind of depth counter filled with oil... If somebody can tell me what is this I will be very very happy.I hope I can put some pictures here with the devise. Thanks in advance. Ivan, welcome aboard matey from California! I'm pretty sure that is a depth gauge, reading meters, instead of feet. Here are some of mine: I'm sure our friend DRW from England can tell us more about who made it--no pressure David! Jaybird

Ivan, First, welcome here. We have a great group of vintage divers here. I too think you have a depth gauge, but I think you may also have a bottom timer along with it. The word "Alarm" is what gives me that impression. There is also a small red indicator at 35 meters. Is it possible that this indicator can be moved? If so, you have two of the three data points necessary for determining decompression for a planned dive. The third is bottom time (the time from leaving the surface). In this case, your Dad may have set the depth at 35 meters, and a timer to tell him when he needed to ascend to not have decompression problems. If this is the case, you will have a fairly sophisticated combination depth gauge and bottom timer. This gauge dos need more oil before it is taken into the water. That air bubble will cause it to be inaccurate because air is compressible and the oil is not. The depth reading will be wrong. 'Hope this helps. Jaybird, you surprised me,your bulgarian is wonderful! Ivan, that's easy to do with Google Translate... It's very important to be nice to people, especially when English is not their first language! So, your command of English is amazing sir... Отлична работа моя приятел! WOW, the Black Sea looks like some beautiful diving--SIGH! This is a jaybird, Western Scrub-jay: Той е много безстрашен, безстрашен, нервен и понякога притискащ птица, свързан с гарвани! Here are some of my toys: Jaybird

Jaybird, yeah,Google translator is something... The Black sea is wonderfool in the summertime. Now I believe is not so nice to be under...Outside today is about 3-4 degrees(Celsius),so around the Black sea will be something like 5-6. I know better Mediterranian sea and Baltic sea,'cause I am playing on ships on these seas. Anyway, thanks guys for your co-operation and kindness. Wish you all calm breathing and full oxigen tanks! And of course nice underwater weather... Cheers!
