Well Mark, ya gotta watch this one: The mind-numbing goodness is set at 6000%! Edward D. Wood Jr.: yep same guy that did "Plan 9 from Outer Space", and so amazingly bad, it's good again... Like the score doesn't sound like anything 'Noir, but more like a Spaghetti Western JB

Not sure if this is avaliable with subtitles but it is quite good. My brother in laws sister in law(whatever that is called) are running around naked in half the film and her father are looking smart in his dress. Dont pay to much attention to the title... m.imdb.com/title/tt0365810/m.youtube.com/watch?v=JXxmbIFYw5M

A bit obscure but good actors and some good underwater action.

Here in Norway we have had the hottest May for the last 100years. The hottest days we have had about 86degrees fahrenheit and the sea is getting close to 73.
Anyway today I have had my first dive for at least five years. Nothing vintage about it unfortunately acept for diving 30min without any suit on. I have an ex firefighting 6L 300bar tanks and wanted to use one of my old Poseidon Cyclon 300s but unfortunately they didnt seem to seal in the valves. The threads in the valves were about a mm to deep. The Poseidon Jetstream was fine though.
Most people around here use drysuits, big tanks and lots of gear all year. My fawourite have allways been just ABC and a breathing aparatus.
Lots of oysters, some scallops and other mussels. And we were fishing a nice cod and some mackerels on our way home. I'm been away from scubadiving for a long time. I think I'm back...

The glaciers are melting here in Norway too I'm afraid. We had a pretty cold winter so its not all bad. Aparantly they have melted away before a few thousand years ago and have come back.
Only time can tell I guess.

Reidar, it's not cold winters that bring them back, but cooler-summers JB

Reidar, here's a panorama I did of the big glacier we visited: sorry, I don't remember the name at the moment: I'm sure you know just how incredibly humbling it is being close to one of them-- UFF-DA! If you click through, you can get a better rez. My original image is almost 115-inches long at 72-dpi JB

That sure is a humbling sight. A bit more so than my local glacier Bondhusbrea witch is big at the top but decends into a rather small front.

We had our second driest May on record here in Oregon, USA. So it's happening, all over.

Reidar: God midtsommer! (Happy summer solstice!)
For those who don't know, the summer solstice is a really big deal in Scandinavia, as the winters can get super depressing because of the lack of daylight...

Thanks JB!
The traditions varies but on my island Bømlo there is big public parties usually near the sea with huge bonfires, barbeques and rømmegraut(sour cream porridge) with cured sheepmeat.
If no one gets injured its one of the nicest nights for the whole family.
When I was a kid we were all handed boxes of matches and told to go and put fire to whatewer and leave the adults alone. The party were over when there where either to mutch smoke or fire.
