The differences internally are few, as far as I know. The newest Silvers have a cast-in HP valve body, but the older ones have a removable one (I've never seen the cast in style the flesh). Silvers with an HP port got a new bottom casting w/o the peacock design. I've already said elsewhere that there is a bit more room between the ORPV port and the can on the new style casting.
The Silvers also got a different LP seat somewhere later on in their lineup. My black label Silver has the old style, and the foil labeled one has the new type. I'm sure there are other little differences, like somewhat changed top cans, but Snarks have remained pretty much the same for their 30-some year long production!

Vance, Instead of using the tee and separate hoses for the BC inflator and octopus, why not use a combination unit like a Sherwood.

The single port can be configured lots of ways. Can you show a picture of one? Also, how's your Snark project coming along?
