Blimey!!! That looks insane! But I can see the evolution of the Olympic diaphragm regs in the 1st stage. Mark

Those levers are a Healthways ripoff!
I like 'em.
Those might be an option for the Dacor DH second stage mod that I might never get to. I was considering a Healthways lever set, but didn't want to sacrifice a Healthways reg just for the lever. But, you can pick up Dacor donor regs all day long for no money. They look small though.
This project idea will probably get rolled into the singlehose first stage cobbled onto a doublehose can project, though. I'm pretty convinced that the Dacor DH first stage is not a good base for a second stage mod. There's just not enough meat to machine into in order to get a sufficient bore size. If one had a mill, the hole might be enlarged off center toward the body center in order to get some space, but I don't have one.
Yet.

If you want to hear Darth Vader's breathing, here it is (but you may not want to listen to the end). By the way, the breathing sounds for Darth Vader was the first generation of the Dacor Dart. The Dart II had a Venturi design which changed the sound a bit. The unique sound happens with the original diaphragm clicking back into position too. John potapecsky-magazin.cz/darth-vader-dycha-pres-regulator-dacor/My Sport Diver II sounds a lot like that.

And true to Dacor's original engineering protocol, you could disassemble the Dart regulator and assemble the entire regulator with wrenches, and appropriate screwdrivers.
