There hasn't been much activity here lately. I'm guessing its because of the national state of affairs due to the Covid-19 pandemic. How are you guys and gals dealing with the lockdown, or whatever term you want to use to describe the current madness in the world.

I work for the Post Office and we're considered essential, so I still have to go to work. I have added some more Snark 3 projects, and a Sportsways single hose to my list of projects.

Skip, yeah, the important thing is staying busy, but two more important things are make sure you get good sleep and keep your sense of humor. OK, this is pretty dark, but it never fails to make me laugh and we all need to do more of that right now: I bought two HW tilt-valve second stages that I'm going to blow the exhaust ports on, here's an example: One will be for my original Scubair, but the other will be to make a divable JC Higgins: I'm going to make some labels for it too These regs will have one with the original exhaust, use it for an octo, but the other will be used as a primary for open water diving. I believe in using my regs not just having them be shelf-queens! JB

My wife and I have started making CDC-approved masks today for healthcare workers too. It's really bad in the Bay Area... BTW if you want to see what's happening with the Zombie Apocalypse you can go to: www.wunderground.comthen type in your zip code: you can see the how many confirmed cases and... GULP! JB

I have been updating my Facebook page with bird photos I've taken over the last year or so. I have friends who are in their homes, and cannot go out. One is the retired U.S. Navy Captain who had brain cancer, and is somewhat compromised, health-wise. So I'm hoping to provide them with some unseen photos to lift their spirits.
Chris and I have been walking, and we watched as our church's service was live-streamed with minimal people (5) in attendance, but last week the live-streaming had 130 people.
We will probably do another walk in the morning, then there are the seemingly endless chores. I'm also still working on my book, and hope to have the second installment sent to my friend's son by the end of the week.

OK, you guys. Pandemics should be good for new posts. Why don't we all drag out our stuff and start showing it off? While you're at it organize everything! You've seen mine, let's see yours?
There's got to be someone with something interesting going on out there... How about building a tank roller out of an old treadmill? Or the fact that HydroTwin II labels always slip in the same direction? Or making a doublehose regulator out of Costco canned chicken cans? Or going diving in a quarry when it's 82 degrees out. Oh yeah, that's been done (thanks, George!).
I'd like to see pictures of people's favorite vintage gear! Or best dive trip ever, or worst dive trip ever! How about some rants? How about arguments over what's better: This or That?
Take a minute!

John, I have one already out there, a novel...365 page book. One of the novels I am working on is a sequel and I expect it to be over 400 book pages.....the other, totally different genre, I have no idea how long it will be. The Novellett, a spin off of my first novel, will be under 40,000 words.....or around 100-150 pages.

When I was young and immature (as opposed to old and immature) I had a cat that was exposed to a runaway garter snake that he cornered under my parents' dresser. The snake got fed up and lashed out to attach itself to one of the cat's front legs. It would not let go.
Let's say the cat was traumatized.
For life.
One of my brothers' and my favorite pastimes (at 8-12 yo) was to randomly coil a 50 foot extension cord on a small room's floor and place the cat in the center.
It would take hours. I still feel bad....

Looking through some boxes in my garage today and came across more valves and manifolds than I realized I had. This does not include the valves on my 4 sets of doubles and my 12 71.2s. Gonna have to overhaul a few just for fun.
