Tried to get out for a reg-testing dive today in the cove below my house but the storm surf and white water made dive conditions just plain nasty. oh well, maybe next week...

Thats cool, I rebuilt a Conshelf SE a couple of months ago. Such great regs, indestructible. Bitter first hand experience confirms the above part is very much the opposite of indestructible! 5 in-lbs of torque is not merely a suggestion and I'd wager there's many a technician who were too busy to be bothered with a torque wrench or a light touch who later lamented their haste while removing the bottom half of the sheared plug.

Yup, that adjustment access port is really handy, but when it gives an extremely low torque number in giant raised letters, it actually means something.

Very nice looking 21. I'm not a big fan of plastic 2nd stages but these breath pretty easy and adjust easily. Have fun rebuilding!
