Hello!
I am a new member from Iowa looking to get some identification on some older diving gear. I am actually not a diver at all (though I've always wanted to). I am a movie prop geek, and have an appreciation for diving pieces, of which I own several:
Vintage US Divers Co. - Aqua-Long Wraparound Goggles - Same pair as used by Hooper in "Jaws". The original strap is unfortunately gone.
Vintage Bug Diver 400 Light - as used by Hooper in Jaws - works.
Vintage U.S Divers Co. buckle - As used by Boba Fett in Star Wars ESB and RotJ.
I will post an additional thread with my specific question.
Thanks!

Welcome aboard shipmate I have a virtually new wraparound mask in its blisterpak packaging, that part is cracked, but the mask is perfect! This one is my diver, and I love it! I probably have the fins used in that film too if'n yer interested Jaybird

Here's my little display... If you want to see some of what I do for fun, check out my Instagram @colebrantpropshop!

Welcome here! We can help with IDing gear. But you really should get wet with the gear, even if only in a pool. That way you can get a perspective on the gear you are collecting. 'Don't have to be a diver to put a facemask on and swim. Here is my wife, who is not a diver, practicing in a pool prior to a trip to Hawaii where we did some snorkeling.
