Quick question for the experts. How hard is removing and installing the hp o-ring from the spring block? How difficult is it compared to say, a SP Mark VII hp o-ring?

Art do you still have yours and have you considered the DH conversion? As mentioned in the thread, I bought mine from JB. I love it and used it after nearly every double hose session to safely finish off a tank with spg. The project for mine being converted to DH is just underway with Phil making some parts…now just need to scrape together enough $ for boxes and a diaphragm
I still don’t really understand the Titan II/MR-12 nomenclature thing. Is the first stage just called a Titan II? I mostly want to know because I want to have a name for the thing once it’s assembled (or if you’re wanting to design something JB, PM sent)
Art if you’re considering converting yours it’d be fun to do at same time! Or maybe you already have and I missed it; every year early-October til mid-March I put my scuba hobby in sleep mode

Hi Art! I personally don't think it's that bad, but you gotta know one secret trick... and that is, don't lube up the o-ring with silicone, when you put it in, use... SPIT! No, seriously, saliva is an amazing lubricant, the reason why it works so well in this application is that it doesn't over lubricate, like trying to grab a watermelon seed, or a greased pig, the tighter you hold it, the faster it will shoot away. It will provide just enough slippage to get it into the groove, and then it will dry, letting your tool get some purchase/grip/traction. Once you have it in, then use the grease JB

I’m surprised at one thing; AMF Voit actually included the LP seat for the Trieste in the Titan. They call it an “overpressure relief poppet,” but we know it as the LP seat for the Trieste and Trieste II. John
