BTW, do you know when that was published? Is that a new-old-stock burst disc?
I would tend to lean towards the low end of the recommended torque value. And even that value is 50% higher than the Sherwood recommended torque.
This is a case where you need enough torque to create a reliable seal between the soft and the harder material. Any higher torque could be counterproductive.
