Ron: I want to hear about the modifications you have seen that take a divers breath away at depth. What is depth anyway?

When I started this thread it was to tell Dan what a fine Job he did with my DA. Funny how its got so far off track. I recieved my "DA" Navy approved from him the other day. The reg breathes great in the shop. I can't wait to test it in lake Michigan. Ok, now were back on track. Thanks again Dan for your great work. This community as weird as it is really needs you. Thanks again!

Jim, I have to apologize on Dan's behalf. I read your first post before anyone had even responded, and I told Dan about it right away because your words were so kind. I hoped he would have time to respond. You are very tolerant to still be here when he has not yet acknowledged your praise. I hate to make excuses, but he is just REALLY busy right now. I know that sounds lame - we're ALL busy. But he answers a lot of email communications every day and it kinda wears him out as far as typing... so he just doesn't find as much time for the forum as he would like to. I'll nudge him again and see if he can find time to participate here. In the meantime, please know that he has read and appreciates all you have said here.

Ha, no biggie. I was just commenting on how this thread grew legs and went a different direction completely unrelated to its origins. No need for Dan to respond as its more of a testimonial to his work mean't for those who might be considering using his services. After all, I'm very happy with his work and appreciate the effort he went through to track down that part for my Navy approved. Consider it my way of keeping Dan busy working on these vintage regs and keeping them going!
Best regards
Jim
