Thankyou, all, for your thoughtful greetings! Yep! Today I reached 44 Magnum. Next year, it's 45 Colt, or twin 45s. Any ideas for 46? I was born in '64, so reversed it is 46. 47 might be a problem, though. Believe it or not, this is what I've already had to resort to to help me remember my age

Thankyou, und danke, for the belated wishes. Other than my wedding ring falling off who-knows-where (Orchard Supply Hardware, I think. Losing weight has it's disadvantages!), the day was very nice.

Duckbill,
You young guys and gals need a better methodology. Mine is easy. I just take 1945 away from 2000, then add the last two digits of whatever year it is after 2000, and subtract 1 if it is not yet December 17th. Easy, right?

Yeah, but then I'd have to remember what the current year is! O.K. I turned 36 in 2000. Easy enough to remember. When I was little, I remember seeing the station identification on channel 36 on T.V. They had various busty babes purring, "You're watching the perrrrfect thirty-six ." Those were the days! Everything was advertized in sets of two..........even cylinders and regulator hoses
