Not the stuff to go diving in! Here in Southern Oregon, we are getting some snow! Only 3-4 inches in the last 24 hrs., but likely more on the way tonight... High temps for this week about 36-40F, lows 28-30F. What's it like where YOU are?

Beautiful, sunny, clear skies here today. Sorry! BUT, not so the past week. Rain, rain, rain. Late last night it rained buckets...nay, swimming pools. Loud on the roof. But, then, about 30 minutes later I realized I had forgotten to put the trash on the curb, and the sky was perfectly clear- not a single cloud. The half moon in the east, and Orion hunting Taurus in the west. The prelude to today's weather.
Lows dipping down to the low 30s on clear nights, 40s on cloudy nights, and highs in the upper 50s/low 60s.
How did you guys fare in "The Storm" of the first week of January? We were traveling, but it looks like a low grade hurricane went through town here.

Here in Wisconsin we had a mild day overcast and around 40. The wind is whipping up out of the southeast at about 30 per this evening, but the temp is holding for now. Tomorrow a cold front comes out of Canada bringing 50+ mph winds, 2-4 inches of snow and wind chills to 30 below zero. Brrrrr. Can't wait till March and my Florida trip. A couple days diving and a week long bicycle tour. That's livin'

It's warming up here in the Portland, Oregon area a bit, but was at freezing this morning. We did not get as much snow as you did Linda, only a dusting on the valley floor in Beaverton. But above 500 feet they got 3-4 inches, and more than a foot in the last 24 hours at higher elevations. Right now its 36 degrees, and probably we will get some snow turning to rain soon.

It is really nice here right now, in the 80s in our Daytimes and high 50s in our Nightimes here in South West Florida,Cape Coral area. But, with the future forcasts of {Melting Glaciers and Greenland sliding into the Atlantic Ocean soon}, it looks like we are going to have to buy a Houseboat to live in soon, if we want to stay here,ha,ha. "Oh well. We all will just have to see how it goes" .

Just had the cold front move into Indy and 70 mph winds and 20 degree temp drop in 2 hours. Alot of horizontal rain and will change to a bit of snow tonight. I was enjoying that 55 degree temp today.

8 below zero 40 below wind chill this morning. At least the winds are out of the West North West. Lake Michigan is flat, maybe I should go diving. My lovely bride hits me when I say that. Ha.

It's cool in Melbourne this summer. Temperatures have dropped to the high 70s and low 80s. It's overcast at the moment, but the water is still about 68 degrees. Light seas on Port Phillip Bay. Visibility underwater is down to 20 ft on the north end of the bay and about 75 ft on the south end. Night dive tonight!

Jim, will you be taking your boat out? Nem Might be a few weeks yet James. I just formed a new dive "group" and I have to keep them active you know. Six members strong. There's three potential vintage divers among the group. Well, one I've already converted, a proud owner of a Pico address DA I rebuilt. There's ice diving in February and we'll get out on Lake Michigan hopefully in March before I head for Fla. Jim
