Hi Everyone! I recently solved a delima that may be of interest to you too! My Royal had the standard yoke and tire type knob, but seemed to work fine on around 2500 pounds. Well, I have 2 tanks and they are both rated at 3000 psi, and I hate to have to let them down for the 2 hose. Dan at Vintage Scuba has my royal and is installing a high pressure seat and 3000 psi yoke with large plastic USD knob! He has told me he has more if anyone is interested!

Thanks, Roy, but.... I found that the yokes off the US Divers bottle gauges were rated at 3,000 psi and can be modified to fit the two hose regulators. Since the bottle gauge yoke has a threaded hole (smaller than is needed for the regulator), the hole just needs to be enlarged and stepped, similar to the US Divers two hose yoke. I did this procedure with a friend's metal lathe, and since the part is brass, it only takes 10-20 minutes. You can find a bolt that threads into the yoke hole, cut the head off, and use it to chuck up into the lathe. I found these yokes at Mar-Vel, and only bought a few, so I don't really have any more available. But for those who would like to try the modification, you can probably buy the yokes at Mar-Vel as well, or "rob" one from a bottle gauge. If you have any questions, shoot me an email. Dan
