... whether there is a difference in their air consumption rate between using a double hose regulator and a single hose one? Assuming similar dive profiles.
I just aquired a DA Auqa Master and I curious as to whether or not I can expect a marked difference between it and my Poseidon Odins.
Thanks

Well, ....
Comparing a DA AquaMaster to a Poseidon Odin might be just a little bit unfair. An Odin will blow air like nothing else. I have never been able to outbreathe my Odin. If the dive is easy you won't see much difference in air consumption. If you go deep and start swimming hard, then I would be surprised if the Poseidon did not out perform the AquaMaster. But the AquaMaster will look a lot better.

There will be a couple of big differences you will notice between your odin and DA, 1. Easier to find someone to work on your DA 2. Cheaper to rebuild your DA 3. wont have to re-tune your DA after every dive 4. Easier to find the "importer" for parts this week for the DA 5. Depending on the first stage the DA won't bleed air from the High side 6. DA won't fludder in shallow water 7. Hoses are cheaper for the DA Could you tell my displeasure for my old odin!
