Batteries and seals were not a problem...the watch itself failed...would start and stop mysteriously on its own.
Citizens said the watch needed to be "refreshed" which meant the whole insides replaced. There weren't any available, discontinued and all that good stuff. So I took advantage of getting the Eco-Drive 200 m dive watch for half price. In doing so, Citizens keeps the old watch.
Really liked that watch, especially the depth gauge, electronic timer, etc. But this watch is also very nice so can't complain. Not many companies give you the opportunity to buy the latest at half price when the product you have been using for more than a decade reaches its design life.

My gauges are a mix of vintage and modern. My "Dive Computer" is a 1972 Doxa watch (very much like pictured above) with a set of waterproof dive tables but my tank pressure gauge is wireless electronic.

Ron,
I'd recommend using a spg as a back up for the wireless stuff. I've had a computer fail on me. Luckily, I was only at 30 ft depth (Russian Gultch, Ft. Bragg, CA). This is just a suggestion.
