Help please! Sometime between the late 50's and the late 60's there was an article with plans published in mechanix illustrated or more likely popular mechanics detailing the conversion of a war surplus 3 cylinder "cornelius" aircraft air compressor for the filling of scuba tanks. In the late 60's, my father, brother & I obtained one of these units and began the project but never finished it for reasons none of us can now recall. The compressor is still in my posession but the magazine is of course long gone. If anyone out there has any info to share on this topic please post it here or reach me directly at my e-mail address.
