Hello all, I'm new to this group but I have had an interest in vintage scuba gear since I began diving at the age of 10. I am wondering if anyone makes aftermarket or remanufactured diaphragms for the old two-hose rigs. I have been unable to find them and even have talked with Dan at vintagescubasupply.com. He didn't have any or leads to where I might be able to find them. The only reference I have been able to find is a picture of a mold and diaphragm from the historical diving society website. Does this mean I'm going to have to design and make my own molds? I've also been looking into industrial diaphragm manufacturers. Anyone have any luck finding thes diaphragms? Thanks, G

If anybody has a regulator disassembled, maybe they could post the critical dimensions (outside diameter, plate diameter, flange thickness) of an original diaphragm to see if an industrial diaphragm would fit.

Have you tried goingunder.net? They may have them. Randy G
